On 27 June 2023, 2023 European basketball champions the Belgian Cats were celebrated at City Hall with the Brussels crowd.
Following their historic victory at the 2023 European basketball championship, the Belgian Cats soaked up the applause from the City Hall balcony. A DJ got the party started before the arrival of the players, who shared their success with nearly 3,500 enthusiastic fans who came to be part of this very special moment. The players then came down onto Grand-Place to greet the crowd. The celebration showcased the athletes’ talent and determination whilst boosting the passion for sport in Brussels.
